How Assure handles keys, questions, files, and the waitlist. Updated 1 September 2026. This is how the product works, not a sales claim that data never leaves your machine.
The Assure app runs on your machine. Questions, uploaded files, previous work, and API keys stay there. Copy keeps the compiled prompt here and does not call a provider.
Open to the internet, a Send goes only to the API you connected (Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Kimi, or another you set). Closed to the internet keeps the question here. Assure does not receive a copy of the text you Send.
getassureai.com is the public page, not the app. The compiler preview on the home page runs in your browser. It can keep recent compiles in that browser's storage. It does not Send. It does not upload your files.
If you join the waitlist, we store your name and email so we can tell you when an installer exists. That is not your questions, files, or keys.
If you sign in later, the cloud stores email and subscription tier. Nothing else from Compose is stored there.
We do not say your data never leaves your machine. A Send leaves, to the provider you picked. We do not invent accuracy rates or traffic stats.
